Deanna

Deanna is a classically trained Pilates instructor based in Los Angeles. She has worked with clients ranging in age from 9 to 82 - from absolute beginners to seasoned movers, including pre- and postnatal. Anyone with a sense of humor will do.
Deanna came to Pilates the way many do: through pain. A decade of cheerleading had turned her into a performer, a teammate, a girl who could flip and smile through anything - including the chronic joint pain no one could see. Eventually, a hypermobility diagnosis gave the pain a name, and Pilates became a powerful tool for both mental clarity and physical strength.
She treats the studio like a wellness jungle gym - equal parts play and precision. Her sessions are intimate, grounded in anatomical understanding, sometimes sweaty, always curious. She loves teaching advanced classical Pilates, especially the weird stuff.
Rehab is in her roots - Deanna has deepened her practice through ongoing study in pelvic floor physical therapy, myofascial lines, hands-on bodywork, and a contemporary mat certification. She believes strength can be gentle, discipline can feel good, and that your body is probably smarter than you think.
