Rachel is a BASI Comprehensive Pilates Instructor whose journey into movement began long before Pilates - as a Junior National tennis player and Division I scholarship athlete. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Master's in Sports Management, she spent over a decade working in the professional sports industry, from the US Open to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Despite success on the corporate side of sports, Rachel realized her true passion was helping people move, perform, and feel better physically. She transitioned into fitness, becoming a certified Personal Trainer and Spin Instructor, but years of high-intensity training, repetitive movement, and neglecting foundational strength eventually led to chronic overuse injuries.

A naturally driven Type A athlete, Rachel's instinct was always to push harder, train longer, and "power through." But her body eventually demanded a different approach. After receiving her Mat Pilates certification in 2012, she began experiencing firsthand the transformative benefits of controlled, intentional movement. Pilates not only changed the way she trained - it changed the way she understood the body.

Through the structure, precision, and deep anatomical understanding that Pilates provides, Rachel was able to rebuild strength, improve alignment, and avoid surgery. What began as rehabilitation quickly became a passion and ultimately a career path.

Today, Rachel combines her athletic background, sports science education, and comprehensive Pilates training to help clients move intelligently and sustainably. Her teaching blends performance-based strength with mindful movement, emphasizing longevity, body awareness, and building resilience from the inside out.
